Diablo 3 Gameplay And Characters.

The new Diablo 3 is similar to their previous game, Diablo 2. The proprietary engine will incorporate new physics and feature destructible environments with an in game damage effect. The Diablo 3 developers are aiming to make Diablo 3 run on an array of different systems and comes to somewhat of a surprise that they have stated it will not require DirectX 10. Every creature model will have approximately 35 unique death animations. As in Diablo 2, Diablo 3 will feature a multilayer game.
Character Classes
As of April 2010, four out of the 5 Diablo 3 classes have been unveiled.
The Barbarian: Is the only class that Diablo 3 is planning to bring back from Diablo 2
The Witch Doctor:
The Wizard:
The Monk: Not related in any way to the Monk class from the expansion, Diablo Hellfire.

Here is some info we have received about the plot on Diablo 3.
Diablo 3 takes place in Sanctuary, Its a dark fantasy world thats been with the Diablo series. The world was saved nearly 20 years prior by a few heroes that were in the previous Diablo, Diablo 2. Warriors that have survirved the wars for the previous game have gone crazy from their ordeals, And its up to a new generation of heroes to face the evil threats of the world of Sanctuary. Players will have the opportunity to explore familiar settings that were previously featured on Diablo 2.
